Edward J. Woolley, B.Comm., J.D.

Edward has been practicing in Vernon, BC since his call to the bar in 1997.  His practice is primarily focused on family law, real estate, wills and estates, and he is also the registered and records office for approximately 80 companies that he has incorporated over the years.  He has appeared extensively in Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.

His real estate conveyancing practice is one of the busiest in Vernon having been built up over the years by way of referrals from satisfied clients, realtors, and lenders.  He is also one of only a few lawyers in the Okanagan that handles Indian land conveyancing.

Edward does an extensive amount of pro-bono work for non-profit organizations and other clients who cannot afford legal representation but need assistance in protecting their legal rights.  The past President of the Vernon Bar Association for two terms, he has also been involved with several non-profit organizations including being the Past President of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Okanagan (seven years), the Past President and current Vice-President of the Okanagan Equestrian Society (nine years) and a current director of the Vernon Public Art Gallery.
