Edward J. Woolley, B.Comm., J.D.
Edward has been practicing in Vernon, BC since his call to the bar in 1997. His practice is primarily focused on family law, real estate, wills and estates, and he is also the registered and records office for approximately 100 companies that he has incorporated over the years. He has appeared extensively in Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal.
His real estate conveyancing practice is one of the busiest in Vernon having been built up over the years by way of referrals from satisfied clients, realtors, and lenders. He is also one of only a few lawyers in the Okanagan that handles Indian land conveyancing.
The past President of the Vernon Bar Association for two terms, he has been involved with several non-profit organizations including being the Past President of Big Brothers and Sisters of the Okanagan (seven years), the Past President and Past Vice-President of the Okanagan Equestrian Society (nine years) and is the current Vice-President of the Vernon Public Art Gallery.
Joseph L. Deuling, LL.B.
Since 2000, Joe Deuling has served his clients in Lumby and district and the Okanagan Valley from his law office located in Lumby. In the early 90’s, Joe began pursuing a career in law after working for 15 years in the forest industry and as a small business operator. Joe graduated from UBC Law School in 1997 and was called to the Bar in June, 1998.
June of 2000 saw Joe start up Deuling & Company in the Village of Lumby. As of June 1, 2022, Joe and his staff joined Woolley & Co. and continue to provide services to the Lumby area including Wills and Estates, Corporate Law, Commercial and Residential Real Estate and Development.
Over the years, Joe has a passion for giving back to the Village of Lumby and has been involved with many community organizations. Joe is currently a Commissioner with the Agricultural Land Commission, a Director of the Mabel Lake Community Club, and he is on the Lumby & District Senior Citizen’s Housing Society.
Cody L. Walker, C.B., A.A., J.D.
Cody was called to the bar in 2014 and practiced in Surrey, BC in a general practice that included: civil litigation, personal injury, family law, criminal law, and wills and estates. In 2017 he moved to Vernon and focused exclusively on family law including divorce, child and spousal support, division of assets and debts, parenting, custody, guardianship, adoption, surrogacy, and child protection. Cody is looking forward to continuing to serve the community in family law, and to expand into other areas including wills and estates and civil litigation.
Cody has a wife and a teenage son. In his spare time he enjoys hobbies including Dungeons & Dragons, 3D printing, Cosplay, light woodwork, and cooking.
